Happy Solstice. We enter the virginal waters of creation for the first time this astrological year, touching upon the deeply sensitive and foundational root of ones lineage and the places that we call home. Origins are clearly a hot button topic these days, with human designed boundaries and cultural designations catalyzing all kinds of emotionally wrought reactions. The Sun is illuminating the shattered emotional security and wounds of ones ancestral and current-life family patterns. The outspoken players on stage here are scared little children running around with over-sized defense mechanisms to allay their broken inner securities with devastating consequences. Whether these defenses are inflammatory words, emotional shutdowns, or nation state militaries at their beck and call, the pain perpetuated hits and accumulates in ones epigenetic code of life. This isn’t good, at all. Cancer holds the fortresses that have been constructed over our collection of lives to survive a world of tribulation. This season invites us to pause and reflect on the emotional wounding we accrued in our early childhood experiences and find a path to healing, so we can create our own emotional security from within and not seek it outside of ourselves through trying to control the people and environment around us. This is how strong, healthy people are developed, which then communities can organically begin to form themselves. External force applied to make these sanctuary spaces will fail, over and over again because the root of the problems are inside of ones emotional heart.
Ruled by the Moon, Cancer tells the story of our relationship to the archetype of the Divine Mother that we wish to be held safely by. Herbs of the silvery night are quite potent to work with this season, especially around the New Moon. Artemisias such as Mugwort, Estafiate, and Sagebrush are potent protectors and deeply rooted in their connection to the divine and wild feminine. Datura, Belladonna, Lotus, Jasmine, and other night blooming flowers would also be indicated here, as they also hold yin energies, gifting us the wisdom of darkness and seeing with our eyes closed. All of these have some association with dreamtime, initiating us into conscious work in these otherworldly realms where messages and insights may assist us in our expansion and healing processes.
The Chariot is the great protector of the divine waters of creation that reside in the core of our body. Cancer rules the stomach and breasts in medical astrology, which pretty much aligns with the placement of the holy grail that the warrior holds. He is ironically going nowhere in his chariot, as the 4 beasts are rooted in their seats, also in positions of guarding what is sacred. This is a warrior that knows the real battle is waged within ones inner world, ones true home, where security and safety can only emerge when these emotional waters are clear of any darkness and pain. One must sit, going nowhere, sit in the pain and the suffering and fight your way into what has held you captive, going back through ancestral generations of time to get to the root and slay the dragon.
Friday June 20 - Sun enters Cancer - Home is literally where the heart is. Enjoy the little gifts that are all around you, surround yourself with allies (not necessarily people - perhaps animals, mushrooms, plants, etc…) that support your interdependence, and directly connect with your inner wellspring of life that is the source of ones emotional security. Tread the waters lightly here, not getting emotionally taken under by the extremely disturbing events happening outside of ones immediate control, there are many entities vying for your attention to feed upon the emotional energy output. Remain aware of this invisible battle, remain kind and centered in your heart - not shutting down to become a transhuman robot cyborg, and most of all be gentle with yourself and retreat and rest when your body has had enough for the moment.
Sunday/Monday June 22-23 - Sun 1-2º Cancer square Saturn & Neptune in Aries // Mars 2º Virgo sextile Jupiter in Cancer // Yod with Mars in Virgo, Neptune & Saturn in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius - These next few days with this yod in effect will make for a series of slightly infuriating and confusing experiences, especially in attempts to organize an attack plan for beginning your big new world construction projects. There are hidden components to the equation that still need to be ironed out. Walk around with an attitude of problem solving, seeing each hiccup as an opportunity to figure out what isn’t aligning yet and make the necessary adjustments for things to flow together in the future.
Tuesday June 24 - Sun conjunct Jupiter at 3º Cancer - Rays of positivity and blessings rain down. The point of the year for intuitive gifts to open, and hearts to expand with a renewal of faith and meaning in ones inner life. Immerse yourself in this inner sanctum where ones true home resides.
Wednesday June 25 - New Moon at 4º Cancer, conjunct Jupiter, sextile Mars in Virgo and in a Yod with Pluto in Aquarius - This New Moon is in her home territory, opening a portal to working with this pure lunar energy that is extra amplified due to its conjunction to benefic Jupiter and supportive friendship with Martian power. Silver linings may start to appear as the Sun, Moon and Jupiter pull away from squaring Neptune and Saturn in Aries. Intentions set at this time could really take off, just remember that we get what we ask for and that often comes with unseen effects so be thorough and clear if engaging with such powers. That said, with Pluto holding the apex of this second transiting yod aspect, there’s an evolutionary force working just outside of our peripheral vision that is briefly opening a wormhole to other dimensional realities that come in to completely transform the visions, dreams and organizational processes that are coming together.
Thursday June 26 - Mercury enters Leo // Venus 21º Taurus trine South Node in Virgo, sextile North Node in Pisces - Desires to connect and communicate from the heart enter, bringing the joyous and expressive gifts of Leo to our lives on one hand. On the other, ideas and perspectives of reality take on a more fixed nature, seeding ground for people to really dig into the sands of ideologies. We get an extended experience of these energies as Mercury is slowing down in speed to eventually retrograde a little later this season. The alchemical magician will be in the fiery heart of the lion until September 1! This certainly makes for a cauldron of transformation that will have some arduously epic debates around topics that are taken quite personally and affect the expressions of the ego. Narcissistic rants, tone-deaf monologues and impassioned wolf cries will be visited and re-visited later this month. Maybe start to practice the fine art of disengagement before the retrograde begins on July 17. There’s a call to tune in to ones own heart and really listen to what is being called forward to enact, independent from what anybody else is saying or doing. Authentic self expression, from a heart that rings with the true song it came in with. Mercury brings the gift of distillation and separation to be in direct communication with ones guides or higher power that is free of collective voices and interference. Make your own little soapbox to stand upon to receive and share these messages of the heart; decorate it with construction paper, glue, stickers, yarn, glitter, etc…. (like you may have decorated a shoebox mailbox for Valentine’s Day in elementary school.)
Venus blesses our unfolding path of destiny with her gifts of earthly pleasures and desires. Pay attention to the people and connections that pop into your world around this time as they may share a key component that unlocks riches of some sort that you can add to your cosmic backpack. Culinary nourishment and other delights of the senses that support your well being may show up in abundance.
Friday/Saturday June 27-28 - Mercury 1-2º Leo trine Saturn & Neptune in Aries - Some clarifying information about the ancestral and/or karmic heart blocks to embodying more of ones true and individuated self may come to light. Supportive allies that inspire action to begin a dream project could appear. For those that are more on the warpath of life, this free flow of firepower can blow their rhetoric to new heights with impassioned and inflammatory speeches that perpetuate violent actions and reactions.
Sunday June 29 - Mercury 3º Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius - Blind allegiances receive their moment in the spotlight, exposing the roots of control for an opportunity to extract oneself from this mass indoctrination. That is, IF one is willing to dis-identify with the group consciousness. On the national or world stage this may signify another splitting of realities as people’s minds undergo another attack of cognitive dissonance that either A. breaks minds open to really see the web of dark entities that have controlled a large part of our modern human experiences or B. breaks minds down into a deeper level of slavery so they continue to construct the energetic prison of their own demise. Perceptual clashes over freedom and freedumb ensue, just in time for celebrating the dark irony of Independence Day.
Friday July 4 - Venus conjunct Uranus at 29º Taurus // Venus enters Gemini // Neptune turns retrograde at 2º Aries - As of this writing, the day before the Solstice, this day of “independence” is set to be the launch day for a little technology project called ai.gov - look it up. In these times of inversion, it seems perfectly appropriate that a key foundation of the AI technocratic takeover that has long been in development will be set free on this day, with a majority of the population of Uhh-merica having no idea of its real world implications. Venus conjunct Uranus, the governor of radical technological and energetic systems, seems to have an overlay that this program will be a caring and benevolent system that will equalize the distribution of resources and create more efficiency in an out of control bureaucratic beast. However, Uranus carries many surprises under its cloak that will suddenly be revealed over time when it enters the chaos of Gemini I think. Including the digital control of currency (and pretty much every aspect of one’s life at this point) that will be attempted in the future, this ai.gov release is the next big leap towards this insane control grid coming to fruition. Contributing to this deception is the fact that Neptune has an incredible amount of power as it stations retrograde, clouding people’s vision as to what is actually being constructed in this silent war.
Venus’ entrance to Gemini kicks up a much more social and entertaining period of time, that may also serve as a welcoming distraction from the worries and troubles of the world. Relations take on a more surface level and fleeting levity, perfect for getting through summer’s neighborhood niceties and bbq’s. Keeping the peace in one’s daily environment is what Venus aspires to, this could also manifest in relating with siblings. Though if one’s dearly held values do come up in conversations they may create sudden shifts in the places one finds oneself as well, as perspectives of reality reorganize your world. Venus is flying around the ethers here until the very last day of July.
Sunday July 6 - Venus 2º Gemini sextile Saturn & Neptune rx in Aries - Finding contentment in dreamland with a good companion seems like a solid plan for this day. You may discover some flexibility in a relationship that creates a stronger bond. Conspiring minds can plan some pretty fun and wild missions. Do yourself a favor and really set yourself up for this rest day cause tomorrow the lightning bolts blast off.
Monday July 7 - Uranus enters Gemini // Venus 3º Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius - The last of the 3 outer planets makes its grand entrance high into the air of Gemini! We’ve been somewhat anxiously waiting for this ingress all year. The brakes of radical change are now off and we are on the ultimate exhilarating ride of rapid evolution. The technological Pandora’s Box has been opened with the recent launch of the government/military AI. Perspectives of reality receive a whole new level of subjectivity as our higher mind (Uranus) is set free to explore the vastness of the etheric realm. Off-planet and multi-dimensional communications, psi phenomenon, energetic anomalies and timeline shifts become far more real for more people. There will be a noticeable acceleration in rates of change, making for an even more chaotic environment. Which, if you’re a chaos magician, working with the elemental and energetic structures of reality this will be an exciting opportunity to really start to take advantage of the loosing of energies and create some really cool shit, that with the right consciousness can assist humanity in making some quantum leaps of change. Consciousness is the key to all of what is happening here for the next 7 years, deviations from a True North in alignment with the great sky fairy captain of this Earth ship will have potentially devastating consequences. We must keep in mind in the midst of all of these changes that Uranus’ job and mission is to break up the foundations and structures of outdated systems, with zero sentimental attachment to anything that is part of the old that must go. Shrapnel, instability and shocks are just part of the process of radical and accelerated evolution, and as you probably can feel we don’t have any time to waste - the many band-aids that are precariously holding these old systems together need to be ripped off, whether we do it ourselves or this universal force does it remains to be seen.
Questions to honestly and objectively ask oneself as well as contemplate for the human collective: How are we using these technologies, energy systems, and powers of thought and mind control? Just because we can do something, should we? What are the known unknowns and what are the unknown unknowns in regards to systems being constructed and released? We have the next year+ to figure some of this out, as Uranus will return to Taurus for one more series of shocks to Earth based systems of resources from November to April, when it will return to Gemini for its 7 year run here.
Uranus and Gemini both have associations with the nervous system, respiratory system and energy body, these combined are a pretty massive amplification of energies that will be hitting these sensitively tuned body systems for an extended period of time. Any breaks or blocks in these systems can create some strange, wandering physical and mental symptoms that western materialist medicine will most likely not be able to understand much less treat effectively. First of all, having a knowledge of how your body responds to stress and having some tried and true techniques to manage this will be important. Second, having a trusted practitioner that works in the more esoteric and interconnected healing arts would be well advised, as I think we’ll be seeing a lot more spiritual symptoms manifesting in people’s bodies moving forward. With the rollout of AI health“care” this whole sector is going to get really weird, and even though it’s being sold as innovative super custom medicine, there will be blanket solutions thrown out at collections of symptoms that won’t begin to touch the root of the issue, as these roots don’t exist in this model of so-called health. Rant over. Just consider seeking support when needed from real people that are grounded in the emergent multi-dimensional reality and have some dirt under their fingernails.
Oh yeah, Venus trines Pluto too! Money and relationships can take on a depth of new meaning via an exciting revelation of a soul agreement. An opportunity can present that opens up brilliant ideas for new connections to form.
Thursday July 10 - Full Moon 18º Capricorn - A karmic story culminates that began at the Capricorn New Moon on December 31, 2024. A sacrifice may be called for that feels foundational to ones stature in life. Responsibilities and obligations may feel heavier here, so give yourself some time to evaluate what it is you are committing time to and trust the cosmic wave that is pulling you into a new mode of being. The Sun and Moon make supportive aspects to the transiting nodes so the ending that you experience is opening a spiritual door to progress through.
Friday July 11 - Sun 19º Cancer trine North Node in Pisces, sextile South Node in Virgo - Flowing off of yesterday’s Full Moon this illuminating set of aspects open a resonant path forward. Intuitive and vibrational beacons are guiding your spirit. Pay attention to what instills a deeply secure sense of home within your body, this is for you at this time. There’s a building awareness of your energy body here that will clearly signal what must be left behind (South Node) and what is coming with on this spiritual expansion (North Node). A health issue may be tracked back to an emotional experience in childhood that begins the release and healing process. The Sun is in its closing sextile towards the South Node, where the eclipses will commence in September, so this is the last big opportunity this year to voluntarily humble yourself and let go of any illusions of grandeur about what this karmic spiritual journey actually entails before the universe does it for you come eclipse season. Saturday July 12 - Saturn turns retrograde at 1º Aries - Big daddy Saturn turns inward for the next 5 months to contemplate the right use of authoritative power and tempering human instincts for violence when threatened, along with a quantum timeline review of what structures will be serving the emerging new world as humanity makes it way through this intense passage. I’d expect another egregious attempt to clamp down upon personal sovereignty in the days leading up to this station, as the old authority structures do their best to hold onto this dying power dynamic. Escalating wars may activate a new level of devastation unfortunately as well.
I made it almost to the end of this epic season, I’ll send out the last few planetary insights next week as I really want to get this published before the solstice night is over, and I need to go to sleep before midnight for once. This is a major turning point in a year that is a major turning point for humanity’s evolutionary timeline. As stated at the beginning of this post, retreat and rest when you must, it’s a marathon that we are in, don’t burn out.
